About Us

Roots & Shoots started in our kitchen when my mom and I made our very first batch of soap. It was lavender, very yellow, and a little thick for pouring. Even though our first bar wasn't the baddest on the block it was sure amazing to us. Since then we have been hooked on making soaps, lip balms, Shampoo bars, and other body products. I guess you could say we fell in love with the process and simplicity of "natural" and the uniqueness of each item. Just like us. A unique mother and son duo, a ROOT and a SHOOT, out to leave our mark on the world, all while sharing our products with you. We hope you enjoy everything we've created and we are happy you are here.
